Is this a sign that I don't have enough Power?

Just recently purchased and built the following:

DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra-D mobo
AMD 64 3700+ 2.2ghz, San Diego Core
2x1gb corsair xms pc 3200 ram
Diamond Radeon x550 256 mb video card
Cooler Master Case (which included a 350W PS)
2x80 GB WD HDD's, plan to run in a Raid 0 config
Pioneer DVD burner
Standard 3.5" floppy drive

This is the 5th computer i've built so I have a good idea of what i'm doing. This is a work computer and I had to find a new video card quick when ordering (the x300 wasn't in stock) so I ended up getting a better video card (the x550). Little did I know at the bottom of the info for the video card they suggested at least a 420w PS. But it was too late for me to change the card cuz it had already shipped. So after I installed everything and went to boot, all I get is one long beep and a pause, and it repeats. It looks to be a video card error and i'm guessing this is because not enough juice. The video card itself has no place for power to be directly connected and the manufacturer info says nothing of it having to have a specific amount of power. Can anyone verify this problem? Also i've never seen this on a motherboard before but this specific mobo has a plug in right on the board for a hard drive/cd rom power plug, what exactly is this for? Power for the video card? (yes i've plugged a hdd/cdrom power plug into it.

Thanks!!

Oh ok, lol. I didn't even really notice the SLI option too much when looking for mobo. No wonder I haven't seen the molex connector before, i'm an ATI fanboy ;-). No my mobo guide/book (which there is only 1), is vague in this area no beep codes. The mobo is running Award Bios.

Funny you should mention that. I happened to be searching the net for beep codes when one for the award bios said a looping beep was a mem error. and I looked closely at my ram sticks and OF COURSE one seemed to be kind of loose, my ram clips were up but the ram stick wasn't down all the way. LMAO. So i've had my embarrasing moment for the day. It works fine now, thanks to all who helped ;-). Sometimes I hate computers and you know they feel the same way some days, heh.

meh, ATi X-fire mobo's have the same 4 pin molex connector too its for "additional stability"
