Alright! Thanks, do you know if the motherboard needs a update to support the cpu cause that's important for me and I'm now sure, also updated it to a 2 tb ssd

That cpu was released almost a year ago so the odds of having to update your bios are slim and even if you did that board includes Gigabyte Q-Flash Plus meaning you can update that boards bios without having to install the cpu & RAM beforehand. Use a FAT32 usb flash drive for that.

That cpu was released almost a year ago so the odds of having to update your bios are slim and even if you did that board includes Gigabyte Q-Flash Plus meaning you can update that boards bios without having to install the cpu & RAM beforehand. Use a FAT32 usb flash drive for that.

I mean it's only 10 euros plus it says it need the bios to be updated, and I don't have any other cpu to do that with and don't want to go though the hassle of doing it somehow

All Gigabyte AMD 500 series boards have bios flashback capability, so you do not need another CPU to do it. Highly possible that it already has the bios needed to work with a 5700x3d, as the bios revision is the same for the 5800x3d, which has been out for quite some time. You will want to update it, most likely, for stability and security fixes, regardless.
