Did I do a good decision or could I have bought something much better for the same price?
The bundle is a:

  • MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI, ATX
  • AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, AM4, 3.7 GHz, 12-Core, Boxed
  • Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) HyperX Fury, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16, 1.35V,

Cost around 900euros

Solution
The cost is a bit high ~€757. Are you overpaying for the CPU?

MSI MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI ~€189
-mediocre overclocking
-average audio chip
-lacks many bells and whistles

Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) HyperX Fury, DDR4 3200MHz ~€189
- A bit slower than what 4th gen likes, 3600mhz seems to be a sweet spot on the price/performance index for these chips.

Ryzen 9 5900X ~€550
- Hard to find and gets price gouged 😕

The cpu is like 590e
Ram 160e
Mb: 200
if I would buy them separately over here. Im saving like 50e with the bundle so

Rtx 2080S, I like to buy the best so why not
Nothing wrong with the 5900x, excellent cpu. It just doesn't really offer much of a benefit over the 5800X for gaming. If going for a 5800x would allow you to go up in gpu, maybe a 3060Ti that would yield much better performance for your money. At 1080p the 2080S is very strong but for 4k it is mediocre. I upgraded my 2080S to a 3080 for 1440p and 4k gaming.

The difference between 5800 and 5900 is like 100euros, and thats not a lot considering how much more you get

Fair enough, you didn't say you already had the gpu. If you were buying all parts including the gpu I think the €100 could give you more performance spent on the gpu. As you already have the gpu its a mute point.

There is nothing wrong with the 5900x, its a brilliant cpu.
Yeah, only thing im unsecure about is the mb
