Hello everyone, I have a potential pc that I’m building, and I was just wondering if the Asrock B450M Pro4 motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5 2600 were compatible, aka no bios update needed, and if not, if there are any recommendations for a motherboard that can support this cpu that’s micro ATX, and has a pcie x1 and x16 slot. Epic, if you don’t mind, would a 3400g also work with this?

Any 3xxx CPU may require a B450 motherboard to have a bios update to work.

The 3400g is weaker than the R5 2600, so go for the R5 2600 unless you need integrated graphics.
