I'm looking to buy an i5-14600kf, and it's the best 200$ cpu I can find, however, my options are quite limited, that I regret buying an intel motherboard, mainly because with AMD, I can find an alternative variant, which is the r5 9600x, which is being sold in Aliexpress, and has a lot of buyers(1000+), it's legit and it's safe, but me being dumb, I decided, that I wanted the best performance within my budget, and in comparison, the i5-14600kf, is faster then the r5 9600x, by 5-10fps, and heck in some games, the r5 9600x is faster.
But I made a bad decision, and bought the (ASRock B760M Pro RS), and now I got to stick with it, so now, I'm struggling to find a CPU, I can buy it on places like Amazon, Ebay, B&h photo, but the problem is the shipping prices, I'm paying a solid 30-50$ for shipping alone, and don't get me started on paying the customs prices, If I buy this CPU, at anywhere besides Aliexpress, I'm paying 300$ at least.

TLDR: Is the Cpu from this seller legit?

I saw NEWEGG is also selling there, if only I could get a discount.
Yes. newegg is likely listing their renewed returns/openbox and refurbished on ebay. Many legitimate retailers do the same. You would probably be able to find many of the same listings within their main cart website.
To save the most money, however, look for "USED" components, sold by private sellers with good positive feedback percentages.
Even if the seller states "No Returns" on their listings, If an item is received which isn't as described, they must send you a return shipping label, and either send a replacement or process a refund.
Always leave good feedback regardless and contact the seller in the event of an issue.
I never buy anything on Aliexpress, I am too afraid of scams. If their return process was as good and reliable as, let's say, Newegg or Amazon, you could get it, check with CPUz if it's the real deal and return it if it's not. But with all the scams going on on this site and the comments about return nightmare stories it's probably not a good idea. You might end up loosing your money. I'd say better spending more to make sure you get the product you paid for.

I think of buying from Aliexpress like buying from a swap meet. You know the % is high of getting burned but on those rare times you strike gold.

Like a swap meet that seller is gone the moment you lay down the money.

I've bought some motherboards from there all okay but I set my expectations really low. I also never spend big money that if it was crap item , live and learn.

But never buy a GPU from there. That would be here just take my money.

For PC stuff component wise ( CPU ,GPU ) i personally wouldnt buy stuff off ali express.
Ive bought CPU coolers and other stuff no problem but i always use PAY PAL so you have that protection of if its not what it says on the box you get your money back

I know a couple of people that regularly purchase items from there. According to them it is about 50/50 in most ways of things like it being the legitimate item, not being a picture of the item, not being damaged, arriving at all. There is basically little to no support when dealing with the site in most situations. On top of it all, much of the time you have to wait weeks to find out if you got scammed or not.

I second the comment about a good used unit off eBay with seller only having very high feedback.
