Is this enough power for the graphics cards I want?

Eh... sorry for asking what seem like such basic questions, but I'm really new when it comes to understanding the technology behind computer parts, etc. This is my first time really diving into the understanding of computers components. I'm not exactly sure what CUDA, and if I'm not mistaken, all I know about physx is that it's used when playing games. This will be a gaming-based machine if that helps you help me decide as to what graphics card(s) I should go with. I plan on using it for warhammer, crysis, valve products.. mainly games such as those. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this subject, but thanks for providing me with some help with this. It's much appreciated.

do u do a lot of video encoding or other cpu intensive tasks? if so that is wut CUDA is used for mainly, it uses the gpu to assist the cpu, if you want to know more about it : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-cuda-gpu,1954.html
although it isnt very useful right now it hopefully will be in the future

yes, physx is used in games, it makes things react as if they were real (or at least tries to lol) ive never used it myself, if you google it u should find LOTS of reviews and comparison pictures/videos

again physx isnt widely supported but will be on future games\

if u dont care for these features then go for the 4870 definitely

or even a 4870X2 which is currently the fastest card that u can get right now but it is way overkill
