Hey guys, I recently purchased this HP Omen 30L from Amazon. The system specs are as follows:

i9-10850K
32GB HyperX 3200 Mhz
1TB SSD - WDC
2TB HDD - Seagate Tech
RTX 3080
Wifi 6

I just watched a YT video and the guy said you can't upgrade the memory because it's stuck on 2400Mhz and you can't make any changes in the BIOS. Also he said the timing is Slooooowwww. HP Omen 30L - Memory Upgrade - Impossible! - YouTube

How do I post screenshots I saved on my desktop? Let me know if this memory stinks, cause i'm still in my Amazon window to return it. Until I can upload my CPU-Z screenshots here's the info it shows.

Thoughts, I bought this prebuild rig for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and I can play the game in 4K Ultra at 30FPS. I was able to get those FPS in NYC at night. If I attempt to go to 60FPS the game starts to stutter and get a little choppy.

Wow, that's certainly some XTU wizardry. We did install the new version, then promptly uninstalled because we were missing the memory tab. Will definitely try this out. Super cool, thanks for sharing.

The motherboard in the 25L w/intel is an HP Edoras H370, so not sure if it's going to work, worth a try.

Ivan, replied to my a comment I left and he said that if XTU does work with the memory tab, you should also be able to change the memory timings. Yeehaw !
