Hello guys,

I'm not really familiar with CPU temps etc so kinda scared here.

Most games I play the CPU is chilling at 50-60c but playing "Days Gone" its looking like this HWmonitor

Just sorta scared that its running this high? and the package says 95c I've seen it hit 100c on the package sometimes.

Specs are :

i9 12900K
64GB DDR5 CORSAIR DOMINATOR
STRIX RTX 3090

Thanks
Mark

Most CPUs will run at full speed and won't have any issues even around 90c. Most CPUs I've seen can go to at least 95c before throttling the speeds back. Most modern CPUs can go higher(around 105c-110c) before damage can start happening, but will generally shut down around 100c unless you disabled the settings in the bios(not sure why anyone would do so tho). Ideally, you want the temp to be below 80c.

I am cooling it with the triple fan icue elite lcd display liquid cooler.
I have 9 fans in the case at 600rpm

Big number of fans doesn't mean good airflow.
What's the case?
Is the cooler mounted properly ?
Be aware that the 12900K is a hot cpu. Are those temps just peak temps or they stay there ( I mean the max temps )? Because If the temps are in the mid 60 - low 70 is totally fine.
Can you show us picture of the inside of the case ?

Yes the cooler is mounted properly.
I forget what the case is called exactly, I think its the "lian li dynamic o11"

Let me know if the link below works

Days Gone is probably one of those titles whose engine utilizes AVX instruction set more frequently, or perhaps throughout. At the same frequencies, AVX is faster than SSE instructions, but comes with higher power use, and you know what that means...

Picture works, but with how you have it set up, the AIO is set up to receive no cooler outside air at all. It's left to 'cool off' on the heat from everything below it, of which the 3090 is the biggest contributor.

I'm not entirely sure, because it looks blurry, but I think there's a non-LED exhaust fan at the rear? Well, it doesn't change what I said about a lack of fresh air to go to the AIO. The liquid inside still needs fresh air to cool down.
