Hello, I having a strange issue with my mouse. It's the Zowie EC1-A, and it randomly started freezing. It occurs every 30 seconds or so and lasts for about 1.5 seconds. Here is the strange thing, my mouse button still work when my cursor is frozen. I know this because I play FPS games. The game continues on just fine while my mouse is just frozen in place. I can still use my mouse buttons but its as if the sensor itself is having issues. I still get the mouse freezes on my desktop as well so it's not related to the game. I recently pulled pretty hard on the mouse wire when setting up a new monitor, is it possible I may of damaged the mouse in the way to cause these symptoms?

Solution
just plug in another mouse and see if theres any freezing, i guess pulling hard on a connected mouse can damage the wires inside the mouse cord, or the use port
