I don't know that PSU but you need to list your full pc spec. You may have a 60w CPU or a 125w

Yes, 300W is the minimum requirement.

EDIT: Wait, just checked the PSU page - the "380" in the title is quite misleading. It actually performs at the level of a 300W power supply and is of low quality, so while it may just about run your rig, it would be cutting it quite close. Suggest you go with a higher tier PSU, will also open the door to future GPU upgrades.

What are your full specs?

I'm running an amd phenom 9650 4gb ddr2 2 hard drives and an asus r7 250. I am using a 230W AcBel psu.

OK. What other PSU options are you looking at? Like I said, while the Gigabyte 380W PSU will work, I would look into getting a higher quality unit down the line. Something like this 430W Seasonic PSU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151074
