hello, i am some newbie here, from old germany.
and i have a question.

is there a hardware mpeg layer-3 decoding card for the ISA-bus? I want to use an old 386-16 as mp3 player, b/c it has no active cooler( very quiet ), and uses quite no energy.
please help. thanks

I will guarantee with 99.99% certainty that there is no such thing. In fact, I doubt your 386 could even run mp3 software, as my old AMD 133 couldn't play mp3s and surf the web at the same time it was so slow, and your 386 is just a wee bit slower than that system.

Give it up. It can't happen. Sorry.
