Question Issue with Chrome Browser

Hello all,

We have a workstation with Windows 11 and Google Chrome installed.
Out of no where, Chrome is blocking all .pdf file downloads on this one workstation only.
I tried resetting all Chrome settings, clearing all browsing data, switching the security level, switched the .pdf setting from open in browser to download, and even reinstalled the browser, but the issue persists.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue and allow .pdf downloads again?

When we click to download the pdf, it does not download and at the bottom of the browser it will say “This file is dangerous so Chrome has blocked it" instead of showing the actual file download progress.

when you said "switching the security level," did you switch to "no protection"?

This is a workstation on a corporate network. What you are suggesting is simply not an option.

Then you need to be talking to your corporate IT department. They are the ones that control security.
