Issues uninstalling itunes with vista

Hello,
I'm running Windows Vista and keep running into this error message when I try to uninstall Itunes: It says that I need to be logged in as the administrator for me to be able to uninstall Itunes and I'm already logged in as the administrator and I'm also the only one that uses my HP Pavilion 9700 laptop ??.. Please Help !!!

How do I put my laptop in Safe Mode ??..

Press F8 when the computer is turning on. you should see options for different kinds of safe mode, just select safe mode. Try to uninstall from there.
