I'm visiting a friend and trying to play games on my laptop over WiFi on Windows 10. Their Xbox and laptop can use it and play games fine and my laptop can browse the web and stream content just fine but when I try to play Minecraft it says its not connected. When I try to play Rainbow Six Siege it can't connect to the servers either. Siege boots to offline mode then when I close it, it tries to upload any changes to the cloud and can't connect. This is a speedtest from Ookla https://www.speedtest.net/result/8727622884 and the WiFi is spectrum and was setup by them. I think its something with my computer because my friend has no issues playing Minecraft and connecting. It even does it if I try to play over my phones hotspot so I believe its my laptop.

Edit: with Seige it seems to be a bit more inconsistent. Yesterday I tried to play and couldn't connect and then I restarted and played for a few hours with some connection issues/lag spikes(not hardware end as I bought this gaming laptop less than a year ago.) then put my laptop to sleep for the night and woke up the next day and back to square one. (the restarting did not help minecraft)
P.S. I apologize if this question is in the wrong area also let me know if you need anymore information I tried to provide everything I could think of.
