Question Issues with Steam Deck and some Questions [New User]

So I got to try out a used steam-deck from a seller and I noticed some issues with it that I'd like to know more about, IDK if there are common or I'm looking at a problematic device.

Model : Early LCD 256GB variant.

Concerns,

1. Onscreen Keyboard was not opening properly when I hit Steam + X button (mainly on terminal)
2. When Onscreen keyboard opens, while typing, sometimes the typing-cursor turns into a solid while rectangle (or sometimes hollow rectangle box) and won't take any input from the onscreen keyboard - is it normal? am I missing anything?
3. Battery health was 100%, Power On Cycle says 594 / and Power on hours was 617 - are these bad?
4. The Screen and the back of the deck got hot while just in desktop mode and testing the device, is it normal?
5. How long will the LCD battery last while not gaming? - I feel like it went down by 15-10% for 1:30hrs of using it (not gaming)

Anything else that i should check?
