Hey there,
I setup my new bare metal for a server.
Hardware:
In 99,99% there is the enclosure…okay…other point.
I installed WIN Server 2019 and the first issue was:
"No Network drivers installed"
So I contacted ASRock and they sent me a driver package V222.
Hmm, why they do not make these drivers available on their homepage remains a mystery.
Now I have the effect, that I have no SR-IOV support.
In the BIOS I enabled SRIOV, CPU virtualization, IOMMU and PCIe ARI.
The OS still states the following:
Any ideas what is missing?
Has anyone SR-IOV supported?
The chip itself should do the job and also in the driver it is enabled…
What I saw is,that the firmware of the BCM is ratherold (221).
ASRock says: ask Broadcom and Broadcom - you know it already… - say: ask ASrock.
So I am in a deadlock with a setup where I do not have the most recent drivers/firmware and no working SR-IOV.
Bit disappointing.
Can I simply install the FW and drivers from the Broadcom page?
Has anyone any idea?
