Well, I use a very strict definition of moral, going back to the Latin root
meaning 'custom'. Morality is the sum of tradition in a specific society (or
religion), and not to be confused any ethical properties such as right or
wrong. A moral thing is not necessarily 'right', and vice versa: a habit is
immoral if it is not supported by tradition, but may be very sound in
principle.

The custom of older men marrying nubile wenches goes back at least as far as
monarchy, and should not be considered immoral. It's probably just as wrong
as the custom of marrying 12-year-olds in parts of the Third World, though.

Having said that, I'd probably marry a 16-year-old girl too, if I had the
opportunity.

Screw that. 16 year old girls are trite and giggle. I'd go friggin'
nuts. Plus, they would probably be too prudish too much...it is better
to have a 30ish year old woman who isn't afraid of herself and ready to
take on the world.

16 year old girls are RIPE. We have evolved to find them sexier than any
other females. Therefor YOU are the perverts.

I'm not the one who brought it up. Am I? Go back and reread the thread,

I'm sure you'd regret it about 90% of the time.

Shoot, 16 year old girls are nicely biodegradable. No regrets there.

One minute twice per week doesn't equal 10%, old man...

They've made knowledge of their relationship a public thing on the Internet,
so to an extent it is our business. If they didn't want it to be our
business they wouldn't discuss it online.

Curious, how old are you? Not asking to judge, but I'm wondering because
perhaps part of this has to do with age. Maybe I'd change my point of view
on this as I age. Like I'm remembering, when I was 18 I would have never
asked out a 15 year old, they seemed too young. Yet when I was 22 I asked
out an 18 year old, which actually had more of an (albiet minor) age
difference.

And when you're 40 you'll be asking 15-year-olds out. It all evens out
in the end.
