Joystick problems

Having used Flight Sim 2004 for a year or so now with no problems the other
night I came to do the flight "First US Airmail Route, 1918 - Leg 1" and for
some reason the joystick does not work. In other flights it works fine but
not this one! Has anyone else discovered this? Is there a patch or a fix? I
do have the Miscrosoft patch updating the flight sim to 9.1.

just checked it out; no problems at all with my Saitek X-45.
