I think AMD should start manufacturing 32nm deneb and thubans with insanely high OC headroom along with the power management feature of bulldozer like TurboCore 2.0 etc and sell them at dirt cheap prices. At least they can take back the sub $200 market from Intel.
What do you think??

While a die shrink would have worked I guess had Bulldozer not been produced, it was. What would happen to all the Bulldozer chips manufactured? Also, die shrinks aren't so easy as producing the exact same chip just on smaller materials, I wish it was that straight forward

die shrinks dont necessarily work . The physics of nano scale cpu design has thrown a few unexpected results for both AMD and Intel .
And the point of the BD architecture was to produce massive parallelism for servers . Thuban could not have achieved this result

But on the client side BD is a failure as in most of the benchmark 4c deneb outperforms 4c BD.Hence a die shrink of deneb/thuban (if it is possible) could have consolidated their position in sub $200 segment.

Yes potentially but while I am not one of those who believe Bulldozer will miraculously improve via software, I do think that AMD did establish a foundation for future CPU architectures and it was time to start fresh. How far can you go with an 8 year old architecture?

There is no doubt that AMD needed a new architecture but the transition to the new architecture would have been much smoother if they had limited BD to servers and die shrink deneb/thuban for clients.
