Hi All,

Recently purchased a K8N-E Deluxe. Having problems with the onboard
ethernet.

Default installation with WinXP SP2 and latest nVidia drivers gives me a
10Mbit connection on the GigE port. I went into the nVidia network
configuration tool and set it to 100M Full Duplex Auto Negotiate - I get
100M half duplex - sometimes (I can tell as I am using a 10/100switch that
reports the mode in use). The rest of the time it does not work at all.

I thought I had a hardware problem until I installed Windows XP 64bit build
1218 with latest nVidia nForce drivers - works by default at 100M Full
Duplex.

Does anyone have the same experience with the nFoce3 250G ethernet
controller?? Has anyone found a workaround?

Cheers

Bryon

I am having the exact same problem. Mine is getting annoying, now the
ethernet no longer shows in the control panel ethernet controllers. Also the
Nvidia drivers install, but do not apply themselves to the hardware. I still
have "Standard Primary IDE Controller" type entries, not Nvidia specific.
Also using the default MS drivers. Something is not right. I have also found
a dozen posts on random forums with people having the same issues.
