Keep the GTX 280 or?

I am buying a used computer with one evga geforce 280 gtx. Should I upgrade or keep it? I want to play games from 2010 and maybe 2011 and I do video editing with 1080p footage. Will the gtx 280 work for me?

I am sure the the GTX 280 will play some games and is still a powerfull video card. What you want to do is look at some of the games you want to play and see what the minimum spec's are , that will tell you where you are with the 280.

As stated before, the GTX 280 is still a powerful card that can effectively fun games from this decade. However, as DX11 becomes more common for games to utilize, you will miss out on that, but it really isn't too much to be concerned about. Until the card really begins to show it's age, keep it.
