Hello, first of all, i'm sorry if this is on the wrong subforum.

I wanted to ask if I can keep my windows when i'm switching out the motherboard, it's a different chipet, so with the new motherboard, the windows wont boot, I get BSOD, because the windows doesen't have the chipset drivers to my new motherboard.
I could install a new windows, but I have so much software i'd need to install all of them, and that's why new windows isn't what i'd want to do yet.

Hope I can get help with it.

^Agree with dodger46. You are better off doing a clean install. Even if you can get it to work with Sysprep there is no guarantee that you are not going to run into stability problems. Windows does not really like motherboard transplants. I have even seen problems crop up when switching out bad motherboards with the same model but newer revisions. Your best bet is to just bite the bullet and do a clean install you will be more stable and in the end that is what you really need.
