i'm interested to see the whole line for kepler series though i will probably skip this gen altogether. initially i'm interested to replace my GTX460 with GK104 but since it became GTX680 i changed my mind 😛. but if nvidia going to price their GTX670 Ti for 349...... 😛
 




700 series arent they set for next year release with maxwell arch?

 


no source just my wishful thinking. remember GTX480/580 was 499 and GTX570/470 was 349. if they follow the tradition then we might see GTX670 around that price 😛



i'm 100% sure that the 700 series (if they come out by the end of year or early next year) won't be based on maxwell arch. if i'm not mistaken nvidia planned maxwell to be built on 22nm node. but we might seeing kepler 2.0 with 700 series. already heard the rumor that the big K will be GK110 instead of GK100
 


i want to see GTX680 4GB vs 7970 3GB in multi monitor gaming or multi monitor gaming plus 3d....
 
Tweaktown reviews seem to be lacking. Why they don't have a BF3 and Arkham City benchmark is beyond me. Not to mention they didn't test multiple monitor setups for the card which is specifically designed to cater to high resolution and multi-monitors. Their reviews seem to follow no uniformity as far as overclocking the hardware goes and their power consumption graphs are so confusing that they actually take away from the review I think. It's hard to really give any merit to the information in their reviews when the information is often contradicting to other review sites. Thanks for posting the review, just be careful with the source. I find the site hard to trust. :)
 
i know after reading the review a few times to properly understnd it they still confuse me with their methods. :??:

only reson i linked it was to be noce to those who will have interest, and i in generel look at 3-5 reviews before i jump to conclusions. Never trust only 1 review is my learned experience since i bought my 8800 gtx back in the day :)

like most answers i dont understand why they did not test with 3 screens since thats what most people want to see and where vram will be eaten.
 
^ maybe they want to be the first releasing the 4GB card review. you know many are interested with the 4GB version so by releasing their review ASAP so they can generate a lot of traffic to their site 😀
 
While I agree with renz496, I have to say that being first doesn't always help credibility. Rushing out information that isn't complete, or particularly clear, has to damage their reputation. This is the site that released the review for the GTX 680 a day or so before any other site could be cause of NDA's, and when the other reviews did surface their review seemed to be heavily contestable. I think a lot of people have been alerted to this and are taking the information from the site far less serious. To me, the single most boneheaded part of their reviews is not including BF3 benchmarks. It's one of the hottest titles out and seems to be the game that most people look for information on, along with Skyrim (Which isn't there either).

Oh well, it's good to see some information either way. I didn't see a price listed in the review, did I miss it or is it just not made public yet?
 
Well what i don't get is, where is the rest of the Non reference 680's?, only MSI has released a twin frozr edition... thats it. And the Overclocked ones from EVGA sorta count but not really they are still reference designs...
 
I especially like the "Conclusion" chart at the end of the review:

Where it says: "Value for Money". I find this very amusing because there is absolutely no pricing information I can find in this review. They seem to be missing a very important variable when trying to come up with a ratio of value to money LOLOLOL.

I have a feeling this is how they come up with their values for this conclusion:
Reviewer 1: "So I have to come up with a percentage for this review, how does 99% sound?"
Reviewer 2: "Hmmm... I don't know that I would go that high, that's really close to 100%."
Reviewer 1: "That's true, I really want to sound like I know what I'm doing here!"
Reviewer 2: "Well how much does it cost?"
Reviewer 1: " No freakin clue...."
Reviewer 1 and Reviewer 2 stare at each other: "NINETY SEVEN PERCENT! HAHAHAHA!"
 




the link you provided earlier could tell us that asus may be upgrading all their DCUII therefor the reason the may take a litle while longer to bring out the 680 DCUII. though the article says midrange cards but does not leave out the option for high end to recive an upgrade to.
