I'm going to try to use my system crash (And yep, this happened even AFTER I did a clean install of the newest drivers) as a grounds for a refund, along with the fact that my 670 doesn't overclock as well as it did day 1..if it works I'm going to be so happy 😀 😛

And yeah, did I mention, BEFORE the BSOD crash, it even crashed Crysis 2 while using GPU boost..

You should be able to get a refund, just gotta be firm with em.

Well, from what I've heard, PCCG customer service is pretty good, so hopefully things won't be too bad.

Edit: Though I do have this card registered with EVGA..I think that may hinder my chances :/

That's what the 7970 should of been 6 months ago, its a nice little card now, shame about the pricing though...

All the GHz models are using non ref coolers apparently as the reference coolers just doesn't cut it.

I'd imagine the reference coolers would have a hard time. Aren't the GHz Editions just overclocked/volted cards with maybe some reworked circuitry?

From what I've heard, they're higher binned 7970s..

Currently only using a single 27" 1080p monitor

but I have plans of buying the Kawasaki Q270 27" IPS 4K res monitor *mainly for desk space*

I was also considering 3 smaller 1080p monitors or a more expensive IPS, idk yet

for 4k res monitor don't think that 2 gb vram will be enough .... even 3 gb ... so you have to wait next gpu generations 😀
