Hi, i built a new pc and i am getting bsods at random times while gaming or browsing. I reset bios to default values (in case memory timings or frequency is causing the problem) but still the bsods persist. I cheched ssd with crystaldiskinfo but it shows no errors and sfc /scannow checks valid too. One thing i noticed is that by analyzing the dump files the problem is caused by ntoskrnl.exe and specifically at adress ntoskrnl.exe+3f6c20 each time. Any help will be appreciated.

Here are my dump files:

Solution
NTOSKRNL = windows kernel. It handles all driver requests, power management, and memory management. It sits between Hardware and Applications. It got blamed but its not the cause

try running this on ssd and check its health - https://patriot-sata-toolbox.en.lo4d.com/windows

Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

memory to windows is ram or page file. Page file on ssd so we check both'

I have asked a friend to convert dump files for me. See if they show a driver name. He is asleep now so...

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/529bhteg/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

There is a BIOS update available for your system. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

I run the test on ssd, but no errors and life 99%

But on ram though, I ran the test with both 2 sticks of ram to check if ram is the problem and i got this

https://mega.nz/file/F9hTEYbK#h12pEc-9z4OsDCBkJOj5VVD_XHH3nQo2PNLDITWjXl0

too many errors. Is it a bug of the software, does it matter that i have both 2 sticks of ram connected, or it is faulty ram or faulty cpu?

also i used the default settings in bios with ram frequency at 2133 MHZ

Software can be run with multiple sticks, it shouldn't cause errors.
Reason you don't check all at once is you can't tell which is causing errors if you get any.

I would check each stick individually and see if you get same result. get a report for both sticks and if they both got errors, I would return them to G Skill and ask for an rma. If you have proof of purchase they should replace sticks for you. Failing memtest is usually all they need.

https://www.gskill.com/rma

If you don't get any errors checking 1 stick, its possible cause is the slot on motherboard but 1 thing at a time.

Its more likely the ram than the CPU.

Problem solved

The issue was caused by faulty ram.
i run memtest as suggested and one stick of ram passed the test, 6 hours with no errors. The faulty stick generated 12000 errors within one minute
