Question Keyboard and mouse won’t work past boot up

I just installed a B450 Tomahawk Max and a Ryzen 5 3600.

PC boots up, but when it gets to the windows log in screen a red light comes on next to the blue and my mouse and keyboard turn off.

Now, many people have said to enter safe mode to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the mouse and keyboard, but they don’t even work in safe mode.

The bios is up to date, so I have no idea what’s going on. Any help would be very appreciated.

Have you tried using different USB ports or making sure that the keyboard and mouse work properly on a functional PC (if possible)?
