Question Keyboard get disconnected from laptop

Laptop: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc0xx

Problem: my laptop keyboard gets disconnected while I'm using it, and I cannot interact with it. The Caps Lock button keeps flashing.
Also the laptop cannot connect to internet whether it's wifi or wired. But the mouse and Bluetooth still working.
Restart the laptop fix the problem.
This issue happens once every 3-4 days

Can someone tell me what could be the problem? Is it hardware issue or software issue ?

You might fire up the HP Assistant software and check for any required updates. It could just be a buggy driver.

Uninstalling from device driver and re-installing it, seems to help a lot of people. You can do this from the Device Manager.

Hi Keith

This is a very late reply since I need to wait for another time for this issue to happen again on my laptop. I try to plug in external keyboard and the external keyboard work fine, but the built-in keyboard doesn't.

The last time I did was I uninstall the built-in keyboard and restart the machine. It works, until now. Again, restart the machine will fix the issue.

What could be the reason for the built-in keyboard to fail? Again I did all the steps on the thread you sent before, including update the driver.

I did open the laptop to replace the hard drive with SSD and add more RAM on last June
