Keyhook programs

I heard that a keyhook prog. allows the admin. of the computer to record and
have access to any passwords and pin numbers created and it can allow that
person to see all the sites that were visited along with email by other users
on that computer-is this true? If not, what is a keyhook prog? And what
program allows all of the above actions to take place-thanx!

Perhaps you're thinking of a keystroke logger?

In any case, your employer has the legal right to know exactly what you do
with your computer. You are, after all, using your employer's computer on
your employer's time.

There are very many programs that your employer can buy to do this.

I am not using my employer's computer, it is my personal computer shared with
family members. So i'm trying to find out if it's been secretly installed or
did a hacker do it?
