How to set the jumpers on a QDI kinetiz 7B with a duron750
and closed L1 bridges?
I can't overclock it..
On asus board:
"Both the DIP switches "5" and "6" must be set to "on" in all adjustments because they are responsible for unblocking the multiplier lock."
Is it a simmelar setting for QDI boards?
Best regards Paa.

Don't know about your jumpers on the MB but you've got to have the settings listed somewhere, eg. the manual, on the web, etc. The L1 bridges must be closed using some sort of conductor. Conductive pens work the best, you just draw a line across the bridge with the pen. With my pen I've had a hell of a time because the tip is thick and dross forms on the end. Anyway, there are plenty of pictures out there of what this looks like, take a look before doing it.

Sorry..My english is not the best.
L1 bridges on the cpu are already closed, i hope (used a silverpen). The problem is when i set it up 9x100hz on the jumpers the cpu comes up as an 700???
Then i read the articel on asus MB about closing switch 5 and 6, to override the cpu settings.
Can i set up the jumpers om my MB on a simmelar way?
Or did i not succed on closing the L1 bridges?
Please have anyone else this problem with QDI kinetiz 7B MB
and Duron750?

I've heard and personally experienced that when the L1s are not properly closed that it can default to lower than stock speeds. I'd recommend trying the L1s again.
