[SOLVED] Kingston M.2 SSD not shown in Disk Management ?

Hey everyone!
Recently built a new rig and bought a 2TB kingston fury renegade M2 SSD. It shows up in BIOS , in device manager but not in Disk Management (and not available in 'My PC' on windows)

i have read many threads on this forum and tried changing BIOS settings, reseating the M2 drive in another slot etc. Nothing works.

Any ideas?

Specs:
i7-13700k
Gigabyte RTX4080
GB Z690 Auros Elite AX
1TB Gigabyte Auros SSD M2 (with Windows 10)
Kingston Fury 32GB Ram
Thermaltake GF3 850W

did you update your motherboard´s BIOS to the latest version ?

is the Intel rapid storage driver up to date ? (IRST)

Any ideas?

Check windows Storage Spaces (Control Panel\Storage Spaces).
If the drive appears there, remove it from pool and delete pool.

This seems to have been the problem, although I am sure I checked it before! Anyway, new drive found and working.
