Having got Kotor 2 the other day, and playing it obviously, I've noticed my
characters health is regenerating when not in combat. Is this normal?

Yes. They added this in KOTOR2.

A couple of other small modifications you probably noticed already
are that you can equip your companions when on the Ebon Hawk now.
And you can equip and switch between two weapon sets (ex: one for
ranged, one for melee).

I think so. My character has been doing the same, but at low speed. It's
become better since I have a feat which alows regeneration. There's also
types of armor which let you regenerate.

But I've been playing this for a while now (got it friday, am now 20
hours or so into the game) so I'm not able to check if your character
starts out being able to regenerate anymore...

Later,
George

I got the game and I noticed that too. My guy is a level 20 Jedi Consular
and he regenerates 10 points every 7 seconds.
Awesome game -

one change I didn't like is that there's no FAST button in the menu screen
that says "Transport Back to Ebon Hawk"

I really liked that feature in the first version, although now that I think
about it, I didn't really feel the extreme need to use it throughout KOTOR
2. But that damn planet with all the loading screens -- GRRRR

You will have to narrow that last one down a bit as there are a few planets with
lots of loading screens. (I think I know the one you are talking about Onderon
where you can't turn a corner without a loading screen)

I left it broad not mentioning the particular planet 'cause it was
virtutally all of them :)
