Ok, looks like I will be getting a new board tomorrow. My brother needs
a new rig by the weekend (no interested in O/C'ing, but would like
features onboard).
I want a KT4(these board are feature rich) and am looking at the:
MSI-BSR 6590-020.... ($124) at newegg
Asus-SR A7V8X....... ($135) at newegg
I believe the only difference in the boards is that the Asus has
Firewire and Lan onboard and the MSI uses CMedia for sound. The
reports I've read said the difference between the CMedia and Realtek
are small (he only runs 2-1 sound so not a biggy).
I leaning torwards the Asus and Tom seemed to like it. Any quick
opinions before I buy?????
Abit KX7-333R, Abit Siluro Ti4400, XP1800+, 512MB Crucial DDR2100, WD 120 GB HD, Santa Cruz.
