KT4AV registers my processor as another speed?

I have a KT4AV n' I use the Athlon 2400+ XP, and I looked on MSI's
website and it says the 2400+ runs at 2gigs. My computer however, when
booted, shows it as the Athlon 1500+ XP. I would really like to fix
this problem if at all possible. Thanks a bunch.

Set the CPU to it's correct parameters (such as FSB and multiplier)
manually in the BIOS and it should run somewhat faster.
