So few months i bought new DS4 for my pc to play rocket league and it started to have weird lag input, sometimes it wouldnt register inputs at all, sometimes i would let go of a key but it wouldnt register it. I sent the controller back and they gave me a new one, meanwhile i bought completely new pc and the problem is still here i have no idea how to fix that. Note i only use controller for rocket league didn't really test it anywhere else. Can a problem be with one of my pc peripherals(mouse is the only thing that is wireless (logitech superlight gen1))?
Here are my specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk
Corsair Vengeance 32GB 6000Mhz
Crucial P3 Plus 500GB
Crucial P3 Plus 2TB
Gigabyte 5700 XT
NZXT H5 Flow
Seasonic Focus GX 850W ATX 3.0

can it connect and be recognized as a controller using it's USB cable,
or is it just for charging?

how does it show in Device Manager;
recognized as a Sony device/gamepad,
offer any sort of driver updates available?

also check Windows Update > View optional updates > Driver updates
for any related updates available.

i had issues with my MS One X gamepad quite some time ago.
ended up finding some drivers available that Windows had failed to install and after a restart all missing input/lag issues were gone.

you can also try some searching for generic gamepad control software and see if the controller reacts normally within their UI.
sometimes manually configuring a device such as these will allow better recognition within the OS.
