Hello,
I need your help in solving a weird issue.
I had a HD 7750 for 7 years since 2013. Played a lot. Processor is (still) i3 3220 since 2103. The card went dead a month back. I purchased an RX 570 4GB, delivered recently. Will slowly upgrade to B550 board with a Ryzen 3300X (severe cash crunch, sorry). PSU is Corsair VS 450.
I played both Shadow of War, Far Cry 5 earlier at full hd no problems on a Dell S2240L monitor. Since getting this card, I reinstalled these two games. Problems is both games have lag and out of sync audio video and subtitles in the cutscenes. Now I am playing on an LG Full HD Smart TV 43 Inch and sometimes on a Mi HD Ready 32 Inch Smart TV.
I don't know what is the problem. Lag in both tv sets. Changed settings of g card, settings of games, changes resolution, changed detail levels, reinstalled drivers, no effect. I find it strange that a 1GB Card could handles these games earlier, no lags but a 4GB card giving lags? Is it a monitor/tv/display issue? May be a TV is not suited to play games. Graphics card is overkill I understand but for that it will lag at 720p also? I don't understand. I have placed it for return on Amazon but I only had the option of REPLACEMENT, not REFUND. So the same card will be delivered again. I was hoping to get the GTX 1650 4GB (same price here in India at Amazon).
Any help would be appreciated. Just that 1GB vs 4GB thing is giving me headaches. Those games ran perfectly earlier at 1080p with that Power Colour HD 7750. Earlier I played Shadow of War in the Dell Monitor but Far Cry 5 I had played in the exact same Mi TV.
