Hello,
I have a MSI GS65 9SG Stealth Thin (LINK) that I'm really happy with.
At the moment I'm staying a lot more home than I thought... and would like to buy a 24-27inch 240Hz monitor and connect to my laptop.
Competition is between LG UltraGear 27GN750 (LINK) or Benq Zowie XL2546 (LINK)... right now i'm more inclined for the latter one.
I already got an USB-C to DisplayPort Cable (LINK).
Will I get 240Hz out of the external monitor ?
Do I need to change the cable ? or change something else ?
I owned a LG 34GK950F (LINK), but it was to big and I couldn't adapt to it... I only got 100Hz out of it, maybe I set it up wrong.
I would appreciate some help.

I would also suggest you create a custom power plan at max and make sure it's a priority when plugged in.
