[SOLVED] Laptop dies a few months after replacing screen from Ebay

So far this has happened twice now. I replaced a laptop screen with one found on Ebay and it works fine for a month or two and the laptop dies. When you press the power button, the light next to it turns on but nothing else turns on, no fan, no ports, nothing. Not sure what the first model this happened to was but the second model was the Yoga 710-15isk. Does anyone know why this has happened and how I can fix it?

To me it sounds like it might be a mobo going realy bad. Can be that previous over heating or pro-longed heat caused some components to quite or do half ass job and overvolt continuesly. It will continue until it kills all your hope of rescueing the machine
