Question Laptop fan won't spin unless I run fan diagnostic from Asus application

I repasted my dad's laptop and now the fan won't spin unless I run Asus fan diagnostic tool, the fans reach its maximum rpm and the diagnostic tool doesn't find any problem. But when I'm not running the diagnostic, the fans would sit at 0 rpm. The CPU temp sits around 50-60°C after 10 minutes of general tasks with no fans spinning. I did not change any original components, no components seems to be damaged and I use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for the thermal compound. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

• fan doesn't seem to spin during boot, only while running diagnostic
• I've tried G-Helper but the fan still doesn't want to spin

try a benchmark like cinebench. How hot is your cpu getting and does the fan spin while higher than 70°C
