Laptop Hangs When left idle after 15 minutes

Previously I didn't have this problem, but starting today, when I left my laptop idle at the desktop after 15 mins, the computer will hang. My mouse cursor moves, sometimes showing the loading sign but I can't click on anything, and ctrl+alt+del doesn't work. The only thing I can do is manually shut down and restart.

im guessing you have a problem with sleep mode. that is really all i have to contribute here.
