Question Laptop Peripherals Disabling Hardware

I've been having an ongoing issue with more and more peripherals on my windows laptop where the onboard laptop components do not work if an external cable or device was plugged in when I shut the laptop down. This has happened with a usb mouse disabling my touchpad on restart, an ethernet cable disabling my wifi on restart, and a wireless headphones dongle disabling my laptop spearkers on restart. In all cases, a reboot usually fixes it, but sometimes a full shutdown and restart is required. I've tried turning off quick startup, checking all my device settings in the various settings menu, using device manager to check for drivers updates. Also this only happens sometimes. Sometimes it will be fine for a few weeks and then start doing it again. I'm running windows 10 on a lenovo legion y740 laptop. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated, thank you! (Also I tried to provide additional info here but it kept telling me my post was spammy and not posting it? I can provide any more info requested if needed).

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What are the make and models of your peripherals(wireless headset and mouse)? I'd start by looking through Lenovo's support page for your laptop(using the serial number for the laptop) and see if you;
a| have BIOS updates pending for your laptop
b| have any updates pending for your OS

c| considering you're on an Intel platform, see if reinstalling your chipset drivers with the latest version helps. When installing drivers, do so in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
