Laptop wi fi connection.

Hello,
I have an IBM laptop, it shows it has connected to the internet via wifi (wireless) but when I try to browse I see it hasn't really connected at all. The wired connection works fine. After using the wired connection for sometime, the wireless now starts to work but it is only after a long while. HELP !

You may only be connected to your local network via WiFi. When this happens try checking the Status of your connection and pressing "Repair" button. That will renew your adapter settings. If the problem persists there may be something wrong with your WiFi setup on the router.
Post router LAN settings if you can.
