Do you folk have any ideas on large capacity backups?

I need to be able to save anywhere from 120-350gig :)

what's a good medium with a large capacity that doesnt cost too much, hah

any idea's? thanks

The best you can do is a Super DLT, it's 110GB or 220GB with compression 2:1. No backup solution of those capacities is cheap. These solutions are in the thousands, and some in the tens of thousands.

You could always buy a couple extra 80gb hard drives. They're getting pretty cheap these days. You can get one for under $150. Plus it's rewriteable. I have around 60gb of data to keep backed, and that's how I do it. Actually, I back it twice on two completely seperate machines from my main workstation, each with an 80gb backup drive.

The only other viable solution is DVD, but it depends on how often the data needs backing. If it's once every couple months it could work but not for every few days.
