How can i check the latency from my computer to my router? Is there a command on cmd? Will a 65 feet cat5e cable affect my latency?

65 ft of ethernet cable is not even measureable compared to WAN latency. 65ft is 65 NANO seconds. Compared to milliseconds for WAN latency.

in windows you can check the ip of your default gateway. type ipconfig in command prompt. then you can ping that.

Correct. Well made ethernet cables, of any length, up to 300ft, will all be the same.

so i pinged my default gateway and got 5ms is that ok?

5ms is quite slow for a wired LAN connection. My pings to my default gateway are all under 1ms. That is with two switches between my PC and the router.
