Ok, so I have been out of the loop for a while, like since the P4. Could someone please include me on the hardware that is up to date.

CPU: Phenom II x4/Core i7
Motherboard: 790fx/x58
RAM: DDR3 1600+
GPU: GTX275+/4890 PCIE 2.0 x16
HDD: 640gb+ 7200 RPM SATA 3.0
PSU: 700W+

That's just a basic list, if you actually want advice on building a computer follow the sticky's format...

Thank you guys for all the help. I also have one favor to ask of you. How would you make the RAM capacity in a Dell Optiplex GX210 higher then what the specifications provide, unless it is impossible then I just gonna have to build a computer like most of the other people on the site.
