LED showing clearly from behind screen

Hi all! I have a monitor where an LED is able to be seen through the screen. There are no tears or anything; it’s all behind the screen.

What would cause this to happen and is it able to be fixed?

If you can clearly see the led then no I doubt that it can be fixed. Are you sure it's not a stuck pixel ? Where is the spot that you can see the led ? Is it near the edges or in the middle?
