Question LED'S Pretty Dim

Recently my parents came back with some solar Leds and it has a nice rainbow wave effect, exactly what i wanted. However the Leds are dim and need a minature solar panel connected using a strange 2pin connection. Is there any way to either cut the cable and join it to a 3pin and receive more power? I do not like that it is solar powered and that they are dim

Not without knowledge of electronics and wo a volt/ohmeter meter.

By 3 pins I assume you are talking about a PC fan connector, which puts out 12v. Next find out the voltage of the solar panel, say X volt, your job is to insert a resistor to lower that 12v to X volt. Adjust final X volt (value of the resistor) for brightness. Ask Dad see if he knows any of this.
