Hi,

First time posting, sorry if it's in the wrong section.

I recently bough a Lenovo Legion y530 laptop with
intel i7-8750h core
1050 GTX
8gb ram
and added an extra Samsung 970 evo plus SSD. After 1 month of use my fans started to turn on and off periodically, mostly when I am performing light tasks such as browsing. Basically the fans turn from min to max speed, stay at max for 30 seconds and then turn of. Repeat. I'm using openhardware monitor to keep track of my speed and this occurs even when my GPU is around 35 degrees. What could be causing this problem and what program could I use for fan speed control (if there is any at all for laptop)?

If it's the GPU fan MSI Afterburner might be able to grab control of it...
Thank you for your answer!
I have already installed msi afterburner but it does not allow me to change the fan speed bar. I can only change the core and memory clock speed. Maybe there's an option that enables it?

Yep, that's what I tried
I just don't have a Fan tab on the options and the one near the fan speed bar is locked. I don't know if the app version matters, but i'm using 4.6.1 and in the video it says 4.3.0.
