Question Lenovo M10 Tablet - - - the camera loads when I give the power button a short press ?

When i press the power button [short press] the camera loads and I have to go back to home page and start again as i dont want to take a picture?

This has never happened before.I have done a full factory reset but that hasn't made any difference as it's still happening, Is there a workaround for this or is the tablet faulty.

What is the reason for pressing the power button?

I.e., to shutdown the tablet?

Does the problem occur if the power button is pressed and held for a longer amount of time? Versus "short press"?

As I understand Page 5 of 29, the Power button must be held for 8 seconds to shutdown.

12 seconds to reboot.
