Question Lenovo thinkpad L440 speaker issue

So I am currently experiencing an issue with the speakers and not quite sure why it does it. So the think pad as a speaker in either side, and I have installed the drivers correctly.

When testing the audio windows plays some sort of door bell noise either side and this confirms that both speakers are working. But when I watch any youtube videos or change sound it only play through the left main speaker. Is this an issue or just how its is. I can't say I have noticed it as not used this laptop in a long while I may have thought it was normal at the time. But when using my newer I get audio through both speakers.

I've already done the device manager, disable , basic drivers, made sure they are up to date and so on. Any insight will be handy.

Right click on the speaker icon down in the system tray; is spatial sound off? Turn it off if it is on.

Just have turned it off, it has made no difference, unfortunately.

In the realtek mixer, is the balance set to the middle?
