I've had this on the back burner for a year or two but a BIOS / Windows update removed my touchscreen,
System is a Flex 5-14ARE05 Laptop (ideapad) - Type 81X2.

This has happened more than once on my multiple Lenovo laptops and years ago I was able to restore it but not this time.
I have done everything from attempting to remove devices that are not located in the device manager and every Lenovo thread to doing registry checks and changes and every single thing I could find. I found threads for changing the registry and I have been looking at this for a very long while now. I went to the WACOM site and downloaded drivers to try and there are no downloads on the Lenovo site for my device. It's like they sold me a laptop with a great touchscreen and then they decided I don't deserve to have the touchscreen any longer.

Does anyone have any advice on some options to try?
Windows 22H2 v. 19045.3693
BIOS version EECN43WW

I do not see it and I do have the show hidden devices checked. Thanks for the double check. I wish that had been the solution - argh

I have reinstalled the graphics driver as well.

There is another way to look at/for devices: Powershell.

Open Powershell as Admin and run the Get-WindowsDriver -Online -All cmdlet

Very easy to do to. FYI:

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/get-installed-driver-list-windows-powershell

Just use the cmdlet shown in the green bordered window.

It may take a couple minutes to generate the rather lengthy list. And then you will need to scroll the list to look for any touchscreen related entries.

Objective being to discover any touchscreen drivers that may be present. Or other Lenovo identifiable drivers.
